We truly appreciate your business and want you to be happy and satisfied with your purchase of the Forte' clarinet. If you are not satisfied return it within 21 days of shipment date for a refund. Refunds are for the purchase price only and both outbound and return shipping are your responsibility if an item is not purchased.

1)General Return Instructions

A. You must obtain a Return Authorization Number (RAN) in order to return the instrument for a full refund. Send an email to: info@forteclarinet.com indicating that you wish to return the instrument and you will receive a RAN. No instrument will be accepted for return without a RAN.

B. For a complete refund, the instrument and accessories must be in original "as new" condition, show no signs of wear, and be postmarked with 21 days from date of shipment. A mouthpiece patch should be placed on the mouthpiece to avoid wear and teeth marks. Accessories such as case, mouthpiece, ligature, etc. are not returnable as separate items. A restocking fee of 15% will apply if the instrument is not return postmarked within 21 days of shipment and instruments are not returnable after 60 days except for specified warranty repairs. Items that show wear or damage, other than original shipment damage, will not be accepted for refund and will be charged at purchase price and will be returned plus postage to the customer. Customer will be charged MSRP for damaged or wear used accessories: Case $90.00, Mouthpiece $45.00, Ligature $15.00, Swab $10.00, Cork Grease $2.50.

C. Include all original packaging, accessories, and paperwork (invoice, warranty card, etc.)

2) Do not write on the original box, or warranty!

A. Write your RAN on the outside of the shipping box.

3) Repack and double box using clear tape only

A. Reseal the manufacturer's box with clear tape only.

B. You are responsible for merchandise until it safely reaches our warehouse. To protect your return, double box your shipment to prevent damage. Write the RAN on the outside shipping box.

4) Insure package and save the tracking number

A. Insure the return for the full value of your purchase

B. Ship your instrument back with a trackable service like FedEx or UPS. We are not responsible if your return gets lost in the mail.

5) Allow 2 weeks for return processing

A. Returns take approximately two weeks to clean and process.

B. Credit card purchases are credited back to the original credit card.

C. All other purchases are refunded by company check.

D. All credits and refunds will be processed and credit issued within 30 days after the instrument is cleaned and processed.

7) Cleaning and sterilization fees

A. $5.00 for each instrument that is returned and $3.50 for each mouthpiece

8) A 15% restocking fee will be charged on all returned instruments after the 21 day return window. All returned instruments must have a RAN regardless of time of return. RAN may not be granted after 60 days.

 

Returning Items damaged in transit or defective items

1) To qualify for return of items damaged in transit or items found to be defective you must notify us by telephone (770-381-0092) or by email - info@forteclarinet.com within 48 hours of receipt. Telephone messages and email are time stamped. You will be advised of documentation needed to validate shipping damage upon notification by telephone or email. Notification past 48 hours of receipt of instrument may not be granted return privileges.

2) To avoid restocking fees, please follow all packing instructions listed in the "General Return Instructions" section.

3) Please be advised that restocking fees may apply if defect is not a result of original manufacturing process. Instruments are play tested prior to shipment and should arrive in playable condition. Instruments returned that have defects not the result of shipping damage or manufacturing process will be charged shop fees at the rate of $75.00 per hour plus parts for repair.

Delivery Refused

1) If the delivery carrier returns an instrument because it was refused or undeliverable, a 15% restocking fee will apply in addition to any tariffs, customs fees, duties or other charges accessed on international shipments.
